AMR Robots Accelerate Internal Logistics in Printer Electronics Manufacturing
In the printer electronics manufacturing industry, products integrate precision mechanical structures, electronic control modules, and consumable components. Production processes demand high levels of stability and accuracy in material delivery. Print modules, main control boards, and housing components circulate frequently between different processes. When logistics fail to keep pace, production efficiency suffers and process backlogs extend delivery cycles. During its capacity expansion phase, a printer electronics factory in Guangdong identified internal logistics as a priority for intelligent upgrading.
The factory operates across multiple floors, with warehouses separated from assembly, testing, and packaging lines. Materials are mainly transported using mobile racks, with single transfer loads averaging around 300 kilograms. Traditional manual delivery and fixed-time transport methods proved slow to respond under multi-model parallel production. To improve overall efficiency, the factory introduced Reeman AMR mobile robots from the Feichuan series to handle high-frequency warehouse-to-line delivery tasks.
Reeman Feichuan AMR robots support a 300 kg payload and can lift racks by 10 cm, enabling direct pickup and placement of mobile racks without additional modifications. After receiving a task, the robot automatically completes pickup, transport, and precise delivery, significantly reducing manual involvement and standardizing logistics workflows.
In dense production environments with mixed human and machine traffic, Reeman AMR robots rely on autonomous navigation and intelligent obstacle avoidance systems to sense environmental changes in real time. They flexibly avoid personnel and equipment, ensuring stable and continuous delivery without disrupting production rhythms.
To address challenges posed by multi-floor layouts, Feichuan AMR robots also support autonomous elevator operation. Materials can be transported directly from the warehouse to designated assembly or testing workstations on other floors, effectively opening vertical logistics channels while reducing time consumption and management complexity associated with manual handling.
From a scheduling perspective, production line staff can initiate delivery requests through a one-click remote system based on real-time production needs. The robots automatically plan optimal routes and perform point-to-point delivery, ensuring material supply remains tightly aligned with production takt time.
Notably, Reeman has established strong large-scale delivery capabilities in the AMR sector, maintaining high annual shipment volumes with products exported to multiple countries and regions. Long-term operation across diverse manufacturing environments provides solid validation of the robots’ efficiency and reliability.
By deploying Reeman AMR mobile robots, this printer electronics factory successfully built a highly efficient and flexible internal logistics system. The solution provides stable support for multi-model, high-throughput production and serves as a practical reference for intelligent transformation in printer electronics manufacturing.
